CANADIAN RANKINGS

Masters Swimming Canada (MSC) ranks all masters swimmers in Canada each year according to their best time in each event. The ranking is based on SCM times only and is based on the top twenty times, the swimmer with the fastest time getting twenty points and the twentieth fastest time getting one point. The maximum number of points that one could achieve therefore is 360 by coming first in all eighteen events.  In each age group there is a ranking record for the highest number of points ever in that age group.

The following members of the Master Blasters Swim Club (1985 to 2001) or the Toronto Y Masters Swim Club (2002 onwards) or of the Greater Toronto YMCA masters swim program have been ranked first in Canada in their age group for a specific year. The rankings were last updated by MSC for the year 2001.
